Delivery Lead - Regulatory Transaction Reporting
Introduction
This role combines regulatory regulation (interaction with SMEs), business analysis, change delivery, and stakeholder management. you will act as the Regulatory Transaction Reporting Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for change initiatives. You will represent Regulatory Transaction Reporting throughout the complete delivery lifecycle, ensuring that regulatory reporting requirements are understood, designed, tested, and successfully implemented.
You will work closely with Front Office, Product Management, Operations, Technology, Compliance, Legal, and Change teams to ensure regulatory obligations are embedded into business and technology solutions from inception to production deployment.
Being able to take the lead for projects that arise, align with stakeholders and roadmap deliveries (Delivery skills)
This role is ideal for someone who combines regulatory regulations, FM products knowledge with proven experience delivery skills.
What will you be doing?
Regulatory Reporting
• Align with the subject matter expert for MiFIR and EMIR reporting obligations.
• Align with the SME and Interpret regulatory requirements and assess impacts of new products, business initiatives, and technology changes.
• Provide regulatory guidance and challenge during solution design.
• Ensure regulatory reporting obligations are appropriately reflected in business requirements.
Regulatory Reporting SPOC for Delivery Initiatives
• Represent Regulatory Transaction Reporting in projects and new product implementations.
• Own the RTR workstream throughout the project lifecycle.
• Perform impact assessments, data lineage, and define reporting requirements.
• Review solution designs and ensure reporting considerations are embedded early in the change process.
• Drive resolution of reporting-related risks, issues, and dependencies.
Business Analysis & Delivery
• Translate regulatory requirements into clear business and functional requirements.
• Work with Technology teams to support solution design and implementation.
• Define testing strategy and reporting validation requirements.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing and sign-off activities from an RTR perspective.
• Support production releases and post-implementation reviews.
Stakeholder Management
• Build effective relationships across Front Office, Technology, Operations, Compliance, Legal, and Risk.
• Facilitate workshops and drive decisions among diverse stakeholder groups.
• Communicate complex regulatory topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Provide concise updates to senior management and governance forums.
Regulatory Assurance
• Ensure new implementations comply with applicable reporting requirements.
• Identify regulatory risks and control gaps.
• Support internal audits, regulatory reviews, and control assessments.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting processes and controls.
What should you bring to ING?
Regulatory Expertise
• Strong understanding of trade lifecycle events and reporting obligations.
• Experience in EMIR and MIFIR transaction reporting within a banking or financial services environment is a strong plus.
• Experience assessing reporting impacts for new products and business initiatives.
